Résumé Writer earns coveted International TORI Award
(November 4, 2009 – Austin, TX – When Career Directors International held its annual conference in Orlando, FL in October, the official winners this year’s TORI Awards (Toast of the Résumé Industry) were announced. Professional résumé writer, Michael Kranes, of (Resume Slayer , has won the top prize for Best Résumé in the category of Military Transition Resume.
CDI’s President Laura DeCarlo, proudly states, “Winning a TORI Award represents the pinnacle of résumé writing expertise within the industry. Professional résumé writers submitted entries for the TORI Awards in late May, and a panel of the industry’s top writers was selected to judge the submissions. Up to 7 entries were nominated in each category, and CDI officers made the final ruling. The winning résumés and cover letters were announced on October 17th in Orlando during CDI’s 8th annual convention.
