Michael Kranes has over 15 years’ experience as a writer and teacher. A multiple TORI award winner—and current TORI judge—Michael also draws from his background as creative writer, English instructor, and student of art and design. Launching Résumé Slayer in 2003, Michael approaches resume writing like a samurai master. Working with executives, career changers, students, and others, he remains dedicated to the highest standards in résumé artistry. Michael has an M.F.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and B.A. from the University of Utah. He studied illustration at Parsons School of Design. He lives in Austin, Texas.
